I had a great 2nd (technically 1st) mothers day. I celebrated last year and got gifts even though at that point I had no idea what motherhood was really like. It is the best job ever being a mommy, but also the most exhausting! We had lunch at our house for my family and then that evening we went to Jamie's parents house for dinner to visit family. I got two pretty hanging baskets and then hopefully this weekend I will be getting the rest of my gift. We are having Wright Signs make a Lawrence stencil for us to put onto a large sandstone rock to put in our front yard. I'm so excited! This rock is more special than just going and buying one because it is from Jamie's parents house. When they re-did their driveway a ways back they found HUGE sandstone rocks underneath their gravel driveway. It's amazing how pretty they are and would've never been found if it wasn't for their driveway project.
