Katy Days
Over the weekend we took Mason to his first Katy Days. Katy Days is in the park every year for memorial day and is a memorial for the Katy Railroad that founded Parsons. It was extremely hot so we went there very long but I think Mason's two favorite things were the bubble machine and the train he got to sit in. There was an automatic train for kids that shook back and forth that was right next to a BBQ vendor line. The whole line of people were cracking up watching Mason giggle and hang on for dear life. I was so upset because my batteries went dead as I went to take a picture. The nicest older couple ever gave me a set of batteries and let me keep them. They said you just couldn't miss pictures like that. It's nice to know there are people still like that out there and I know I'll be sure to return the favor some day. It was so bright it was hard to get good pictures, it was a lot funnier being there to see his big grin.
