Monkey Love

Mason loves to kiss and hug everyone, including his stuffed animals! I can never get a picture of him kissing, he turns way too quick. He usually takes the camera from me before I can even get a picture taken. He likes pretending to take pictures and loves saying "CHEESE!"

Thanksgiving in the dark

Of course we waited too late to take pictures on Thanksgiving so it's dark in the ones I got. My camera only loads half of the pictures that I take for some reason, so our family picture isn't on here for me to post. I went to the trouble of making sure Jamie and I both wore brown to match Mason for a picture and now it won't even load! Figures! Mason had fun playing outside on Thanksgiving when it was 30 degrees outside! We couldn't get him to come in. Anytime I let Rosie out to go the bathroom he throws a temper tantrum because I won't let him go out. He is going to have a long winter playing in the house!

Fall Art by Mason

Here are some of Mason's fall master pieces. I love how I have pictures to hang on the fridge now! The turkey's feathers are his hand prints, the pumpkins are foam stickers he stuck to the paper, and the other one is his free style finger painting.

Peek-A-Boo

Peek-a-boo is our favorite game! One day I couldn't find Mason anywhere. I went into his room and he opened up his closet door and yelled boo at me! He was sitting in his closet in his restaurant booster chair opening and shutting his closet door. It was too cute. My mom got a good pic of him in action at my uncle's house.

Holiday Home Show

First Christmas pic for the year!

Neewollah

This year we decided Mason needed to be a pirate for Halloween because he is so good at saying "Arghhhhh!" Of course he didn't say it one time for Halloween! Haha. Anyways we had a good time at the kiddie parade although it was freezing! We decorated Mason's wagon into a pirate ship and pulled him through the parade in it. He did very well. He was yelling "go, go" the whole time swinging his arms because I wasn't pulling him fast enough. He got a kick out of all the dogs dressed up in costumes too. I chose not to bring Rosie this year because last year she was scared to death of the marching bands. Last year Mason slept through the whole thing! Boy we have changed so much in a year! Aunt Jen brought Jackson and Abbi to the parade too so Mason had lots of fun playing with them for the weekend. Oh, I forgot to mention that we ate our trick or treat candy as fast as we received it!

Aunt Mal's Wedding

Here are a few rehearsal/wedding pics. Poor Mase did not make it down the aisle! But the flower girl did!

Catch Up

I don't even know where to begin because it's been so long since I've blogged. In July I temped at Labette Health and then in August I got a job working at Coffeyville Elementary School as a social worker. I am commuting with another girl so the drive really isn't that bad. Jamie starts a new job Monday as an account manager for Aaron's. Mason will start going to a babysitter for the first time Monday! He is starting off going to a friend of ours in Independence. She is a stay at home mom with her son who is five months older than Mason. I think Mason is going to have a blast having a buddy to play with. Mallory is getting married this weekend and Mason has a big job in it as the ringbearer. We tried his tux on him today and he hates wearing it! I think he gets too hot and then gets fussy. We bought him brown chuck taylors to wear instead of dress shoes, it looks adorable! Things Mason is now doing:

-says CHEESE when he smiles
-says hello when playing with our phones while holding it to his ear
-raises his arms in the air and says (half way says) TOUCH DOWN!
-still sleeping in our bed....
-has a new bottom tooth, #8
-brushes his teeth (pretending with our tooth brushes)
-loves chocolate milk
-pretends to play golf with EVERYTHING, he swings everything like it's a golf club and says GOLF
-twirls and does "ring around the rosie"
-sings along with his cartoons
-says cookie when he wants one REALLY bad
-is fascinated by the toilet (the water in it, the flusher, the lid)
-tackles Rosie when we asked where his doggy is
-says DOG
-moos if he sees a cow
-can point to objects when we asked him where they are (in books for example)
-peeks his head between his legs while bending over
-loves steering and pretend driving (golf cart, his fire truck)

Have I mentioned how fun this age is???!!!

Princess Rosie

Anyone that knows my dog knows that she is treated like a little princess. Well, Jamie's dad is now encouraging it also. He built her the perfect princess bed. This was an early birthday present for me and boy was I surprised! I could not get over how this was his idea to spoil her! Jamie's mom told me they went to 6 different stores because he had to find her the perfect pillow for it. Rosie has someone wrapped around her little paw! Anyways, he is now thinking of making them and selling them. I think it's a great idea because all of my friends are definitely pet lovers! Mason loves getting in it more than Rosie. My next project for him is to build Mason one just like it, maybe he'd actually sleep in it considering he still sleeps with mommy and daddy!

Mason's 1st Hair Cut

Thursday Mason got his first hair cut at Body Beautiful by Halee. She did a great job and he was such a good boy. After the hair cut he got some Reece's pieces and helped sweep up hair. He looks like such a big boy from the back now that his curls are gone.
