Sunday Cruisin

Today it felt like summer! Okay, not really...but it is definitely an improvement from what it's been. We took advantage of it and put Mason's jeep he got from Santa outside for the first time today. He is getting better at driving it BUT still needs to learn to keep his foot on the gas the whole time he wants to go. I'm surprised he doesn't have whip lash. I don't know how, I haven't taught him these things but he is 100% BOY. He loves cars, trucks, mud, sticks, etc. He had big fun chasing Rosie outside today and then played with a stick flicking wet leaves at her. Poor Rosie. Actually, she loves her little play mate.

Our Second Christmas

This year Mason enjoyed Christmas much more than last year. He opened his own presents and actually knew what was going on. He might have been a bit overwhelmed by ALL the gifts, but he loved tearing into the paper. Thank you everyone for everything he received, our spare bedroom is becoming a play room with lack of space for all of his toys in our house. Over the break, I had planned on posting on here everyday...didn't happen. Now school has been cancelled due to the low temperatures and I am still having trouble finding time to post. Maybe it's my active toddler keeping me busy! Our newest milestone that I am oh so excited about is (drum roll please!) WE PAT OUR DIAPER when needing to go pee pee or poo poo! We sit on our elmo potty chair every night before bath time too. Although we always say "poo poo," at least he knows something is going on down there. Now we will work on knowing the difference between pee pee and poo poo and feeling the urge and telling me BEFORE we go in our diaper. I'm so excited though at how well he is doing telling me. Here are some Christmas pictures to enjoy!

Monkey Love

Mason loves to kiss and hug everyone, including his stuffed animals! I can never get a picture of him kissing, he turns way too quick. He usually takes the camera from me before I can even get a picture taken. He likes pretending to take pictures and loves saying "CHEESE!"

Thanksgiving in the dark

Of course we waited too late to take pictures on Thanksgiving so it's dark in the ones I got. My camera only loads half of the pictures that I take for some reason, so our family picture isn't on here for me to post. I went to the trouble of making sure Jamie and I both wore brown to match Mason for a picture and now it won't even load! Figures! Mason had fun playing outside on Thanksgiving when it was 30 degrees outside! We couldn't get him to come in. Anytime I let Rosie out to go the bathroom he throws a temper tantrum because I won't let him go out. He is going to have a long winter playing in the house!

Fall Art by Mason

Here are some of Mason's fall master pieces. I love how I have pictures to hang on the fridge now! The turkey's feathers are his hand prints, the pumpkins are foam stickers he stuck to the paper, and the other one is his free style finger painting.

Peek-A-Boo

Peek-a-boo is our favorite game! One day I couldn't find Mason anywhere. I went into his room and he opened up his closet door and yelled boo at me! He was sitting in his closet in his restaurant booster chair opening and shutting his closet door. It was too cute. My mom got a good pic of him in action at my uncle's house.
