N-O!

My absolute favorite new thing about the new big boy I have who used to be my little bitty baby is....that he shakes his head no at me. Honery, yes, but I love it! He always smiles as he does it though just to let me know he doesn't have an attitude! I have been working with him on shaking his head yes, but he might see the no expression a little more than yes these days. It's not his fault he's a toddler! I think he purposely gets cuter every day so he knows he will never get in trouble. What is it with little boys and having their mommy's wrapped around their little finger? I never thought Jamie would be the firm parent who would discipline. He tries, I'm the softee!

1st Wagon Ride

Mason loves riding in his wagon! Well... at least for a little while. After so long he wants to stand up and hang over the side to touch the wheels as they spin. Tonight we put Rosie in it and he thought it was hilarious. He was trying to hold her and was cracking up!

4th of July

Here are some belated 4th of July pictures. We had an amazing time doing a whole lot of nothing. My mom took Mason to my great grandma's 4th of July party at the nursing home the night before. Unfortunately everyone else was working and couldn't make it so it was just Mason, my mom, and grandma. I was told Mason was shaking his booty to the music all night and the singer kept commenting about her red headed dancer. On the 4th we stayed at our house and had my mom, Jamie's parents, and Jamie's sister with her boyfriend and his kids over. We hung out all day watching the guys playing wii, Jennifer slaved away grilling, drank a few cocktails, went to watch the fireworks, ate, ate, and ate some more! Mason had a blast shucking corn! I could not believe how much he enjoyed the firework show! It didn't scare him a bit. This was a total surprise because we had been at a birthday party at the beginning of the week and he whined when they shot off a little rocket. He was amazing and I think he loved watching them. We all had a great 4th of July and I think it's totally true to say that the smallest plans always turn out the best!
