Biggest Little Jayhawk Fan
We love Kansas basketball! Mason has been watching KU play since he was just a little guy in my tummy. I'm sure he heard all of the commotion the night they won the championship last year. I remember the night of the game going to bleacher gear to buy shirts after the game and Jamie and I bought him his first KU binky. We got Mason a little basketball goal for Christmas and he has loved playing with it. He has been exposed to sports very early in life, whether its the being on the green at the golf course at just a few weeks old or watching daddy play basketball in the gym this winter. He doesn't care what sport it is, he loves to watch them all! We are proud our boys played so well this afternoon and hope they do good again this Friday! Rock Chalk! Grandma and Grandpa also helped Daddy install a fan in the living room today and Mason had fun playing with the ladder. Of course we had to lick it to see what it tasted like! We also went to visit Great Great Grandma and are very happy she is feeling much better. Mason sat on her bed by her and pulled out MANY of her kleenexes from the box. He watched me stuff them all back in the box and then pull them all out again. Aunt Mal also shared some of grandma's treats with him. Well let's just say I wasn't surprised to see that my child likes Milky Ways. Thanks for the candy Grandma! Something else we have started doing this week is putting our shapes in the shapes box. The middle of the box has a big hole and you can put them in the box that way or through the sides where there is a special side for each shape. (star, square, triangle, circle) For awhile I had just been showing him how to put them in the big middle hole which is the top of the box that is open. He would never do it, but he would pull them all out which I thought was funny. The past few days I would put the shape by the hole that was the matching shape and just lay it across the hole and see if he could turn it the direction it needed to be to fit down into the hole. He sure did! I was very excited that he is learning so well from what we show him. (I hope the whole shape box story wasn't too confusing!)
