"Dude looks like a lady"

Mommy cut off her hair today and decided to save her ponytail to donate to "locks of love." Well Aunt Mal and Mommy thought it'd be funny to see what Mason looked like with long hair. We couldn't resist and cracked up laughing the whole time. Mason just looked at us like "whats so funny?"

Monkey See Monkey Do

Last night Mason went with Daddy to go rent a movie and he got all bundled up in his new monkey coat! We could barely snap the belt of the carseat across him because it's such a puffy coat.

Tickle Time

More peas please!

Tonight was Mason's first time eating baby food. He had organic sweet peas and seemed to do very well. He is definitely not my child, I was gagging through the entire experience. I couldn't believe how much he ate. There were a few funny faces but I expected him to spit most of it out. He ate half of a container and seemed to have a very full belly afterwards. He is napping as we speak. Mason has also been sleeping in his pack-n-play for us. (knock on wood) Everytime I say something is going well on the blog, that night something usually goes opposite of what I say. Last weekend Mason stayed in Independence. Mommy and Daddy stayed with him on Friday night so Daddy could watch the KU v. Nebraska game with Papa on Saturday. Mason watched the first few minutes of it but got a little scared when the boys would holler and cheer a little loud. Saturday night Mason stayed with his Nana and Papa all on his own. We hope he didn't wear them out too bad.

Nuts About Mommy!

So I know it looks like I only buy Mason clothes that say how much he loves his mom, but there is no selection of boy clothing that says anything about daddy. The girl clothes says "i love daddy" and the boy clothes all say "i love mommy." Sorry daddy, we don't want you to feel left out. We'll find some daddy clothing somewhere. Mason is daddy's mini me though. I guess since he looks nothing like mommy I get to dress him in mommy clothing.

Mason loves his high chair!

Daddy finally got the high chair put together and Mason loves it! We had been feeding him in his bebe pod chair which worked okay, but he is sitting up very well so we thought he could handle the high chair now. Mason also has a hidden talent, he can suck on his toes! We're such proud parents! Haha. My other child, Rosie sometimes acts out for attention. She's a bit jealous of the baby. She decided to shred one of her toys while we were taking pictures of Mason. Oh the fun of parenthood.

Vote!

Mason was so excited listening to Daddy talk to his PaPa about the election and how PaPa was a volunteer today. NaNa and PaPa also visited Aunt Jen this weekend to watch the OU v. NE game. They got to meet lots of old husker players who were winners of the heisman trophy. Mason was very jealous he did not get to go.... so was daddy.
